Ducati has officially launched its smallest Multibike in India – the Multistrada 950 BS6 and it is the ‘S’ variant it is debuting with. The Multistrada 950S is powered by a 937cc, liquid cooled, twin cylinder, Testastretta 11 degree engine which is good for 113 hp of peak power at 9000 rpm and 96 Nm of max torque at 7750 rpm.

The sports tourer has maintenance intervals of high 15,000 km. Key features include adjustable screen, Trellis frame and backlit switchgear controls. It has suspension which can travel 170 mm and a 20 liter big fuel tank.

Prominent electronics include Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS), Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) and Cruise Control. It also gets semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) which continuously adjusts fork and shock absorber, based on a 48 mm diameter fork and rear shock (both electronic).

Additionally, it also has Bosch Cornering ABS, Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit, Ride by wire and riding modes.

The older Multistrada 950 was sold at Rs 12.84 lac in India which means Ducati is charging a fair bit of premium on its BS6 ‘S’ variant. Bookings of the model have commenced across all the company’s stores in India and deliveries will start from second week of November onwards. It is being offered only in the Ducati Red color for now but the international GP White shade will come sometime next year.
