Ducati has announced the official launch of its second Bharat Stage 6 motorcycle in India after the Panigale V2 – the Scrambler 1100. The big scrambler is offered in two variants – Pro and Sport Pro.
The 1100 is powered by an L-Twin, 2-valve engine which produces 86 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 88.4 Nm of maximum torque at 4750 rpm and is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. As the numbers also suggest, Ducati says that focus has been on easy rideability and power comes in a smooth manner across the rev range; there is abundant torque right from the word go.

Ducati informs that this Scrambler has a metal tank and comfortable seat – and is ideal for riders who travel out of city along with pillions. Further, the new 1100 also comes equipped with slipper clutch, Marzocchi suspension at the front, Kayaba at the rear, Brembo braking system, standard Cornering ABS, twin 320 mm front discs. Other features include Ducati Traction Control, three ride modes – Active, Journey and City and ride by wire.
The Pro variant is offered in two-tone ‘Ocean Drive’ color theme whereas the Sport Pro is offered in Matt Black shade. It (the sport pro) also gets 45 mm Ohlins suspension, cafe racer styled rear-view mirrors, flat handlebar which is exclusive to this trim. Both the variants come equipped with Pirelli MT60 RS tyres which have specifically been developed for the Scrambler.
Bookings of the Scrambler 1100 are now open across all Ducati dealerships in India and deliveries will also commence from today onwards.
