Last Sunday DSK Hyosung conducted a Hy Ryders Ride Meet in Kolkata to promote Superbiking Culture in India. Around 45 bikers draped in their riding attires on Hyosung’s premium Aquila Pro, GT650R and other bikes went around Kolkata flaunting their machines and their passion for riding.
The ride started from DSK’s Kolkata dealership, Kolkata Riders around 7 am in the morning and culminated at Sher-E-Punjab which totaled a distance of approximately 65 kms. Before the start of the ride all the riders were instructed to follow the basic safety guidelines for a thoroughly enjoying ride.
Mr. Shivapada Ray who takes care of the Sales and Marketing of DSK Motowheels said that they have received a very encouraging response for their motorcycles from the Kolkata market in terms of sales. He also said that they will conduct many more such events to leverage and encourage the superbiking culture in the country.
These kind of events also provide a chance to Hyosung bike owners to meet each other and talk at length about their experiences and rides. DSK is the latest entrant to the superbiking fraternity in India and they are doing their bit to grow this culture of free riding on higher displacement bikes.
DSK has a partnership with Korean Hyosung and sells bikes like GT650R, Aquila Pro, ST7 and GT250R. The company also has plans to open up a plant in Maharashtra along with an intent of entering the mainstream smaller 125-150cc capacity bikes market soon.
