DSK Benelli Introduces ABS in TNT 600i for Rs 5.73 lakhs

DSK Benelli, as promised to BikeAdvice at the Auto Expo, has launched the ABS version of TNT 600i at Rs 5.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Being one of the largest selling bike in their line-up, the 600i becomes an even more attractive offering after this addition. It is not just the only ABS enabled offering in the segment but also continues to be the cheapest four cylinder in the market.

The bike gets the same in-line 4 cylinder, 16 valve, DOHC, liquid cooled 600 cc mill, which churns out 83.9 bhp of maximum power at 11,500 rpm and 54.6 Nm of peak torque at 10,500 rpm. Mated to this is a 6 speed constant mesh gearbox. Enthusiasts will also love the fact that ABS is switchable. However, it is still not clear if the ABS is standard or not. The dealership in the national capital claims that the non-ABS version will also continue to be available.

DSK Benelli has also promised to bring this safety feature across its line-up which includes even the smallest TNT 25. Since the 600i is assembled in India, fitting ABS is not a problem at all for DSK. The company has a facility in Pune for this. There has been no official word at present about introducing ABS in the 600 GT which is the tourer version of the 600i.
