Discounts – Rs 57,000 Knocked Off on Kawasaki Z250 – Cheapest Twin Now…

Kawasaki and many others are clearing off their BS3 stock before the April 1st deadline of converting to BS4 compliant motorcycles. We have already shared massive discounts which are being on offer on Honda CBR 650F as well as the Kawasaki ER-6N.

Now, the naked quarter liter from Kawasaki – the Z250 is also being thrown in with a massive discount of upto Rs 57,000 on the on road price by Kawasaki Mumbai, which makes it the cheapest twin cylinder motorcycle in India at the moment.

Kawasaki Z250 Price

On Road Price
Z250 regular price Rs 3.52 Lakhs
Z250 discounted price Rs 2.95 Lakhs
Discounts Rs 57,000

Please note that these are on road prices pre-octroi which means you can enjoy these reduced prices in Thane, Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan etc. If you are registering your motorcycle in Mumbai, you will need to pay octroi extra. Also, these prices are applicable for BS3 models only.

This makes Z250 one lovely bargain. The baby ‘Z’ is powered by a parallel twin 249 cc DOHC engine which produces 32 PS of peak power and 21 Nm of max torque. It is the same fuss-free engine of the older Ninja 250 which we love to the core.

Z250 has not been able to set its foothold in the market with discouraging sales. To give you a reference, Kawasaki barely managed to despatch 22 units of the Z250 in the last six months of sales (August 16 to January 17)

It appears that people considering buying it end up upgrading to the Ninja 300 or some other motorcycle. Talking about the faired brethren, there are no significant discounts available on Ninja 300. In fact, we hear that once the BS4 Ninja 300 is launched (soon), there may be a price increment, magnitude of which is not known at the moment…
