As a part of its yearly exercise, Yamaha has brought the special editions of its popular motorcycles and scooters in India, just ahead of the festive season. The most exciting variant – the R15M comes in the Monster Energy MotoGP livery.
The special edition gets black as the base color with blue ascents and green Monster Energy logo – which makes it look probably the best looker of all the color variants on offer. This special edition is offered in the top of the line M variant which means the motorcycle gets quick shifter, golden colored brake calipers along with a few other minor bits.
Rest of the stuff like projector headlamps, upside down front forks, dual channel ABS, etc have been offered as standard.

This means that the 2022 MotoGP Edition costs Rs 2000 more than the metallic grey R15M and upto Rs 12,000 as compared to the regular variants of the R15 V4. It is Rs 600 costlier than the 60th World GP white edition and sits at the top of the line-up.

There are no other changes to the motorcycle and it continues to be powered by the brilliant liquid cooled, 4-valve, 155cc, SOHC motor that pumps out 18.4 PS of peak power and 14.2 Nm of max torque.
Yamaha says that the R15 MotoGP edition will be available at the premium Blue Square outlets in India and is a limited edition model.
