BUSTED: Hunk Facelift is No Different; Should Pack in 15bhp of Power

Hero MotoCorp is, without an official screaming, working on the footsteps of their erstwhile partner Honda. They probably have more than 15 launches planned for this year. 😉

They may be the top seller in terms of two-wheelers in the country but it’s no secret that majority of their sales come from the 100 ccs and a fact that they are one of the worst performers in the industry when it comes to the 150 cc territory, is well known now! However, they are working on plugging the gap…

Gaadiwaadi.com has been able to click pictures of uncamouflaged test units of the upcoming updated Hunk. The spy shots reveal that there are not many significant changes on the looks front but with that test equipment attached, we dearly hope Hero is testing some engine tweaks. The upcoming new Hunk has all the possibility of getting the 15 bhp tune from the Xtreme Sports from the same Honda sourced 150cc mill.

The new Hunk continues with the same design with some new stickers to justify the ‘all-new’ tag they will use to promote the bike 😀 . The front and rear suspension (with the GRS canister) loses the golden shade and are now inverted. The springs are also black in place of red and Hero yet again misses out on a mono-shock absorber! The spark plug cover is also now black (from red).

The crank case cover gets Hero embossed on it in red. The instrumentation console gets the same look apart from some very minor changes. And the mule also sports rear disc brakes which are also offered on the current version.

Looking at the completeness of the product, we see Hero launching it in the coming few weeks, probably after the new different Splendor Pro.
