BMW S1000RR Isle of Man Edition pics at the end of the story. Only 50 units of the the green colored superbike will be made…
Paying tribute to the world’s most treacherous racing event, the Isle of Man TT, BMW Motorrad France has designed an Isle of Man Edition of the BMW S1000 RR supersport.
This specially designed model will exclusively sell in the European market. The color scheme looks really beautiful with green paint all over the body of the Isle of Man BMW S1000 RR. The green color takes its inspiration from the sports sedan BMW M3. The headlamps get a yellowish tint on them.
Coming to the mechanics, the BMW S1000 RR Isle of Man Edition borrows some features from the standard and M-Sport S1000 RR.
They include heated grips, cruise control and dynamic damping control from the standard model of the supersport.
From the M-sport model the special edition S1000 RR gets an M-endurance chain, GPS lap trigger, and USB charging port. As it is a race-oriented superbike, the BMW S1000 RR Isle of Man comes fitted with M-line titanium Akrapovic exhaust right from the factory.
It is a limited edition model that costs €33,005 which is close to 30 Lac in INR. The regular variants of the S1000 RR – Standard, Pro, and Pro M-Sport, start at INR 19 Lac and go up to 25 Lac in India with stock mechanicals. Customizing it further with carbon fiber and exhaust system can raise the cost by INR 5 or 6 Lac more.
