BMW G310RR bookings number suggests that there are a lot of takers of the motorcycle despite the same product available with more features and at a lesser price…
BMW Motorrad, kind of, surprised when it rebadged the TVS Apache RR 310 and launched it under its own moniker – as G310 RR. That makes it the fourth product to be launched by the joint venture (of BMW-TVS). Interestingly, while BMW now has the complete bouquet of a roadster (G310R), ADV (G310 GS) and full faired (G310 RR), TVS only sells one product – the Apache RR 310.
It must be noted that all of these are made by TVS Motor at its Hosur plant. BMW then uses these units for our Indian market as well as exports.
Bookings of the G310 RR were opened before its launch in June 2022 and the motorcycle was officially introduced on 15th July at a price tag of Rs 2.85 Lac – Rs 20,000 more than the Apache 310. There is another, higher variant that costs Rs 2.99 Lac. And within a few weeks, BMW informs that its G310 RR has completed the first milestone of 1000 bookings according to one of its social posts.
BMW has also opened deliveries of the full faired sportster and there are various videos on Youtube of bikers owning up their first Beemers. The RR is available for bookings at all the official dealerships across India.
