German automobile manufacturer – BMW Motorrad has announced that it is soon going to launch the Bharat Stage 6 compliant versions of its popular motorcycles – G310 R and G310 GS soon.

Ahead of the launch, the company will be accepting the pre-bookings of the motorcycles starting September 1st, ie from tomorrow.

BMW has also teased the updated versions. The 2020 G310s will come equipped with LED headlamps with LED DRLs, apart from Apache 310-like red colored frame.

It is to be noted that the motorcycles were available in India during the BS4 era, and were pulled out as the BS6 norms kicked in, in the country. The two motorcycles were the largest selling BMW motorcycles in India. In fact, these two formed as much as 85 percent of BMW India’s yearly sales.

BMW will offer the G310 twins with ‘three years, unlimited kilometers’ standard warranty. Additionally, the customers will have an option to extend the warranty for the fourth and fifth year, as well.

That apart, the company will also have a roadside assistance program, which will be available 24×7, 365 days, that will be helpful in case of breakdowns and towing situations. Bookings can be done either at the dealerships or online at BMW’s official website.

The bikes will be available at the BMW authorized dealer network in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Raipur, Cuttack, and Ranchi.
