BMW C400 GT price may be closer to some superbikes on sale in India. But it will definitely open a new realm in the superscooter category here…
BMW Motorrad is all set to launch the brand’s first maxi-scooter C400 GT in India. It will debut here on 12th October. BMW has teased the maxi-scooter a few weeks back on its social media.
The C400 GT will be fitted with a 350cc single-cylinder engine. It will deliver a maximum power of around 34 hp and max torque of 35 Nm. Being a scooter it will have an automatic transmission. After launch the BMW C400 GT will become the most powerful scooter in India.
The Maxi-scooter gets features such as USB charging, LED lights, keyless ignition, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity support. The super scooter also gets traction control and riding modes.

Being a product from the Bimmer camp, the upcoming maxi-scooter C400 GT is expected to be priced at an insane INR 10 Lac.
If this becomes true, it will be very interesting to see what kind of target audience has BMW set for this scoot. At this price point, you can have the Z900 or Triumph Street Triple R or some other insanely powerful superbike. It won’t, obviously, have many takers, but Honda’s Forza 300 also found some buyers which costed many lakhs.
