Bajaj sales February 2022: Like others, it wasn’t a good month for Bajaj as its domestic numbers dropped to under a lakh!!!
Bajaj Auto have released their sales figures for the month of February 2022. Like others, domestic sales have not gone well for the company. Exports have only been the saving grace.
The company registered Gross Sales of 2,79,337 units of two-wheelers in the month of February 2022. This indicate a drop of 16% from 3,32,563 units sold in February 2021.

Year-over-Year Sales
The Domestic Sales registered 96,523 units in the month of February 2022. It is a decline of very significant 35.19% against 1,48,934 units of February 2021.
The Exports held steady at 1,82,814 units in February 2022, compared to 1,83,629 units registered in February 2021. It is a minor drop of 0.44%.

Month-over-Month Sales
The MoM numbers are all in red.
The Domestic Sales dropped by a significant 28.76%, from 1,35,496 units sold in January 2022.
Similarly, the Exports also saw contraction of 2.72%, compared to 1,87,934 units exported in January 2022.
The Gross Sales followed the similar trend and dropped by 13.63% compared MoM.

Year-to-Date Sales
The Total Sales between the period of April 2021 and February 2022 registered 35,80,532 units. It is a gain of 9.30% when compared to similar time period of the previous Financial Year.
For the similar time period, the Domestic Sales dropped by 5.77% while the Exports grew by 24.20%.
