The halogen unit of the ongoing model has been replaced with LED lighting and eyebrow-shaped integrated LED DRLs
Bajaj Auto has silently updated the Pulsar 220F with LED headlamp in the country while increasing the price by around Rs 8,000. The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F will now be available at a price point of Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The halogen unit has been replaced with LED lighting and integrated LED DRLs. The company had updated the motorcycle in Dec 2025 with new paint schemes, refreshed graphics and LED turn indicators. Mechanically, the 2026 Pulsar 220F remains unchanged while carrying the same features as the preceding model.
The 2026 Pulsar 220F was rolled out in Dec 2025 in four paint shades namely Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue, Black Copper Beige and Green Light Copper. However, Bajaj has axed the Green Light Copper colourway in favour of a new Black Gold colour option. The company had did the same with the Pulsar 180 when it discontinued the White colour earlier this year.
The new motorcycle continues to carry the same front and rear disc brake setup with a single-channel ABS. However, contrary to media reports, dual-channel ABS has not been offered. Notably, Bajaj Auto has increased the pricing of the 2026 Pulsar 220F by Rs 8,000 as the ongoing model was priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Though the inclusion of a dual-channel ABS would have made it even more desirable and premium.

Some of the notable features onboard the 2026 Pulsar 220F are five-spoke alloy wheels, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, Ride Connect app integration and turn-by-turn navigation. This is one of the many new Pulsar models, revealed by Bajaj MD Rajiv Bajaj, to launch in the Indian market. We will see multiple Pulsars going on sale in the coming months, including the Pulsar N125.
At the heart, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has the same 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled Twin Spark DTS-i petrol engine which develops top power of 20.6 bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 18.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This is the first major update for the Pulsar 220F since its launch in 2007, which is nearly 19 years back from now.

Last month, Bajaj had launched a new variant of the Pulsar N160 with golden-colored USD front forks, assist and slipper clutch, LED projector headlamp, and single seat setup. Priced at Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it was only offered in Racing Red colour scheme. The Pulsar N160 is positioned between Pulsar N125 and Pulsar N250 in Bajaj’s portfolio of naked streetfighter motorcycles.
