The Wave electric scooter will be available with 2.2 kWh, 2.7 kWh, 3.7 kWh and 5 kWh battery pack options in the Indian market
Simple Wave electric scooter has been launched in the Indian market at an introductory offer price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). It will be available in a total of six variants namely Wave S EBN 2.2 kWh, Wave S EBN 2.7 kWh, Wave S TFT 2.7 kWh, Wave EBN 3.7 kWh, Wave TFT 3.7 kWh and Wave+ 5 kWh. The first deliveries of the Wave e-scooter will start from Sep 25, 2026 in our country. Featuring a chain-drive transmission, the electric scooter comes with segment-leading storage capacity of 70 litres, including the ‘Pill’ storage unit with 4 litres capacity.
Sitting on a tubular steel frame, Simple Wave is rolled out with four battery pack choices in the form of 2.2 kWh, 2.7 kWh, 3.7 kWh and 5 kWh which return IDC range of 110 km, 132 km, 171 km, and 243 km, respectively. The e-scooter gets multiple riding modes including Ride, Eco and ECOX as standard across the entire variant line-up while the higher variants additionally receive Sport mode.
With a 1347 mm wheelbase and a payload capacity of 150 kg, Simple Wave supports both standard and fast charging as it comes equipped with a 750W portable charger for home charging. The company claims that the range-topping Wave+ grade takes only 2 hours and 15 mins for a 0-80 percent charge using the fast chargers. It also boasts of IP67-rated battery pack and motor protection. The electric scooter has a saddle height of 775 mm.

The battery pack in each of the variants is linked to a PMSM motor paired with a chain-drive transmission. The suspension duties are carried by telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. Riding on 12-inch wheels, Simple Wave comes with front disc and rear drum braking system which works in sync with the Combined Braking System (CBS). The e-scooter has a ground clearance of 175 mm and water wading capability of 300 mm.
Some of the notable features onboard the Wave electric scooter are 7-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, GPS tracking, call and music controls, USB charging, over-the-air (OTA) updates, traction control, regenerative braking, all-LED lighting, hill hold assist, reverse mode, crawl mode, and vehicle tracking functions. The lower variants are fitted with a 5-inch EBN display in place of the 7-inch TFT unit.
