Several prominent two-wheeler brands such as Bajaj, Norton and Royal Enfield will launch new adventure bikes in the Indian market
The adventure bike segment is getting massive popularity in the Indian market. The middleweight segment is already dominated by heavyweights like the KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and BMW F 450 GS. However, despite these models, we will witness the launch of several more adventure motorcycles in the coming months from leading two-wheeler brands such as Bajaj, Royal Enfield and TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles. Lets talk in detail about the new adventure bikes launching in India.
Starting with Royal Enfield, it will launch Himalayan 440 and Himalayan 750 this year in the Indian market. While the former will be positioned between the Scram 440 and Himalayan 450 in RE portfolio in India, the latter will serve as the brand’s flagship ADV bike globally. Internally codenamed as D4G, Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 will use the same platform and engine as the Scram 440, but styling will be inspired by the Himalayan 411.
As for the Himalayan 750, it was recently spied up close on a highway in Tamil Nadu near Royal Enfield’s production facility. It is confirmed to debut at the EICMA 2026 later this year in Italy. The adventure motorcycle will come loaded with dual disc brakes at front (a first for any RE motorcycle till date) and single disc at the rear. At the heart, it will house a newly-developed 750cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which could develop top power of around 55-60 bhp.

A few days back, the new Bajaj adventure bike was spotted testing for the first time on Indian roads. The spy images revealed that Bajaj’s ADV bike is almost production-ready with a KTM 390 Enduro-inspired silhouette as it is likely to go on sale by the end of 2026. Since it was captured on camera alongside the Pulsar N250, there is a strong possibility that it could be using the same 249cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine which generates max power of 24.1 bhp and peak torque of 21.5 Nm.
Last but not the least, Norton Motorcycles, the British brand owned by TVS Motor Company, will roll out a couple of new adventure motorcycles in the form of Atlas and Atlas GT, which will be locally made in India at TVS factory in Tamil Nadu. Both the ADV motorcycles have already been spotted multiple times during their test runs on the Indian roads.

The Atlas GT will be a more road-biased and tourer version of the Atlas as it will be available with 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels with road-biased tyres as compared to the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels of the standard Atlas. Both the bikes will be powered by a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which is expected to develop top power of around 70 bhp. The engine will come paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip & assist clutch.
