Bajaj CT110 price is upto Rs 4000 more than CT100. It gets a bigger engine and a many cosmetic changes for a slightly upmarket look…
Bajaj is trying to consolidate its presence in the entry level commuter segment. Here, it sells two brands – Platina and CT. Platina got a shot in the arm with the recent Platina 110 with H gear. Next in line is the CT range which is getting a new variant as well – called as CT110, as revealed by some brochure pics by Autocar.
CT110 is definitely running a bigger engine and hence its name. This motor will likely be the 115cc single cylinder DTSi engine which already does duty on the Discover and Platina. It produces 8.6 PS of power and 9.81 Nm of max torque and these specs are expected to remain unchanged on the CT as well. However, there is a possibility of the CT getting a 4-speed gearbox instead of the 5-speeder on the siblings.
In terms of other changes, CT110 comes equipped with blackened engine and alloy wheels, upswept exhaust, fork gaitors, higher 170 mm ground clearance, rubber mirror covers and weird looking tank pads. Bajaj has also equipped it with semi-knobby tyres which it says will offer ‘firm and stable grip’ on tough roads.
