While Bajaj is readying some very interesting motorcycles from the KTM’s stable, including some from the new Husqvarna brand, what everyone is interested in is to know the progress in their tie-up with Triumph. …it will reach a conclusion in the next one-two months…

By conclusion we believe he means that we may hear something concrete on the product front and/or may be the time frame when these companies are planning to launch the resultant motorcycles. The commercial agreement has not been signed yet and this may also mean that the sign-off may happen in the coming weeks.

What we know till now is that teams from both the companies are in talks and the motorcycles that will be introduced will be in the mid-range – more specifically between 300cc to 700cc. According to speculations, the first motorcycle could be a single cylinder 500cc.

How Much is Bajaj Earning from KTM Motorcycles?

It is believed that the first motorcycles may become launch ready only by 2021 or thereafter. Meanwhile, the other such tie-up (between TVS and BMW) is set to introduce their second motorcycle after Apache 310 (details).
