Bajaj Auto has finally launched its first ever electric vehicle Chetak at an event in Mumbai. Chetak was first unveiled on 16th October 2019 and is the first all-electric two-wheeler from a mainstream two-wheeler manufacturer in India.

It will be available only in Pune and Bangalore for now after which Bajaj will take it to other metro cities as well, but later.

Bajaj is offering a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kilometers on the Chetak. It says that the electric scooter needs minimal maintenance and the service interval is 12,000 kilometers or 1 year whichever is earlier.
