Keeping its tradition of being Auto Expo tigers, Hero today unveiled as many as four new products – one of which is the surprise 200cc Xtreme 200S.
Hero confirmed that Xtreme 200S will be launched next year in India and will be the first 200cc product from the company which will slug it out against Bajaj’s Pulsar range and the new Apache 200 series.
Xtreme 200S Engine
Xtreme 200S is powered by an air-cooled, single cylinder 200cc engine which churns out segment least 18.6 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 17.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm, again trailing its competitors on-paper.
The new bigger Xtreme is mated to a 5 speed gearbox and Hero says it is inspired from Cheetah.
