Electric scooters Ather 450 Plus and 450X have received major price reductions in Mumbai thanks to the new subsidy going into effect in the region. With the discount, the revised price of Ather 450 Plus is INR 1.03 Lac.
Similarly, the Ather 450X now costs INR 1.22 Lac after applying the subsidy. There has been a reduction of INR 24,000 as compared to the previous pricing of the electric scooters.

The above prices are inclusive of GST but exclude the insurance, road tax, and registration charges. After this correction, Ather scooters have become more affordable and in line with various other players. This should give a sales boost to the impressive start-up.
Back in June this year, Ather scooters underwent a correction in Delhi and Bengaluru after DHI announced the FAME II subsidy for the electric vehicles.
Ather 450X Price Slashed by ₹14,500
Ather has aggressive plans to expand to 100 cities within the next two years. We can expect more features such as crash detection, SOS, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and remote diagnostics, etc.
EV domain in India has been seeing great push from the various Governments and this has lured many start-ups to venture in this segment. Sales are expected to increase manifold after these incentives.
