LEAK – Mysterious TVS Motorcycle Spotted; Apache RTX 310…?

Are these first TVS Apache RTX 310 pics? Let us try and analyze this new leaked development from the South-based motorcycle maker…

It is known that TVS is making more motorcycles on the 310 platform after the brilliant Apache RR 310. The biggest speculation is of a naked streetfighter that is expected to come this year. Amidst all of this, a new, mysterious motorcycle has been snapped with pictures trending online.

Why TVS?

It is clearly a TVS motorcycle as we can see that small part of white colored ‘T’ of TVS on the engine casing. And then there is a clear TVS logo on the gate from where this motorcycle seems to be exiting (check pic below).

What is it?

Upon careful examination, this mysterious motorcycle seems to be carrying the same frame (of whatever is visible of it) as the sibling full faired Apache RR 310. Those golden colored upside down front forks may also be similar and that front petal disc may also be the same. However, that sub-frame appears to be different and so does the swingarm. Differences also include new alloy wheels and even possibly that rear monoshock. So, yes, it appears to be a TVS variant based on the 310 platform but with many differences.

Another important pointer to note is that race-spec exhaust that may not make it to the production-spec motorcycle. The motorcycle is also missing some parts like the rear part of the front mudguard, rear mudguard (including that monoshock protector), etc, so this may still be a prototype and may not be the final product.

This is a naked motorcycle that is wearing the front side blinkers on the pointed tank extensions. There is an interesting, yellow colored, raised seat and a tagline that starts with ‘HY…’.

BREAKING: Ronin Based Cruiser Patented by TVS

BikeAdvice was the first portal to reveal that TVS has, very recently, applied for a patent of the Apache RTX brand name and this could be that Apache RTX 310! TVS may be wanting to separate its bigger models and may not want to use the RTR moniker on them – a ploy that it also applied for the Apache RR 310.

With spyshots emerging, we could be nearing what could be one of the biggest launches of the year. However, let us wait for some more information to understand TVS’ plans…
