The Q3 FY27 will witness the debut of multiple adventure bikes from leading two-wheeler brands with various engine displacements ranging from 250cc to 750cc in India
The adventure motorcycle segment has been getting massive acceptance and popularity in the Indian market over the past few years. The majority of the buyers have choose ADV bikes due to the superior performance on every terrain while delivering a comfortable ride experience during long journeys. This has propelled several mainstream brands such as Bajaj, Hero and Royal Enfield to introduce new models in this segment, which we will see running on Indian roads by the end of 2026 ot early 2027.
Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan has already confirmed that the Himalayan 750 will have its highly anticipated world premiere at the EICMA 2026 in Nov in Italy. The pre-production prototype of the adventure bike was showcased last year at the EICMA. The upcoming twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle has been captured on camera multiple times during its test runs on the Indian roads ahead of the official launch.
It will be rolled out with adjustable suspension setup as USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers. A few other notable styling elements expected onboard the adventure bike could be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and front windscreen. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will debut with a new 750cc parallel-twin engine which could develop power around 55-60 bhp.

Hero Xpulse 421 was recently spotted testing for the first time in Ladakh. It will be using a steel trellis frame which will be suspended by USD front forks with long-travel and rear monoshock absorber. The adventure bike is expected to ride on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels which will be fitted with dual-purpose tyres. Being the brand’s biggest ADV bike till date, it is likely to break cover at the EICMA 2026.
Hero Xpulse 421 was first teased at the EICMA 2024 and then it disappeared into the thin air like a phantom for nearly two years. Now, with the recent sightings of the test mules in Ladakh, we believe that the project has took off once again and we might see the first glimpse of Hero’s biggest ADV bike till date at the EICMA 2026. It is all set to debut a brand spanking new liquid-cooled engine.

Last but not the least, Bajaj Auto is also foraying into the entry-level adventure bike segment with an all-new model, which is likely to launch by early 2027 in India. However, it could be showcased at the EICMA 2026 before eventually going on sale in early 2027. Recently, it was learnt that the India-spec version of the upcoming Bajaj adventure bike will borrow the 249cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250 as it was spotted testing alongside the Bajaj motorcycle.
