Bajaj Dominar 400 Adventure Edition Breaks Cover

The Adventure Edition comes with block pattern tyres, unique graphics and additional saddle mounts as standard fitments

Bajaj Dominar 400 Adventure Edition has been unveiled in Colombia with multiple factory-fitted touring accessories as standard fitments. The limited-edition model not only is presented with visual enhancements but also with several new elements to justify the ‘Adventure’ tag in the name. Unlike the India-spec version which was recently updated with a 349cc engine due to GST concerns, the Dominar 400 is sold in Colombia with the tried-and-trusted 373cc single-cylinder petrol engine and 6-speed transmission.

First things first, the Dominar 400 is rolled out in Tera and Touring versions with Brown and Sparkling Black colour options, respectively. Here, the Dominar 400 Tera is being touted as the Adventure Edition as it flaunts unique decals on the fuel tank and body panels around the rear subframe. We can also see a 400 branding below the graphics which the Touring version does not get.

The Dominar 400 Adventure Edition is equipped with extra saddle mounts above the rear luggage rack for placing saddle bags. It could come as quite handy for riders who tour often on their cruiser bike. In addition, the Adventure Edition rides on block pattern tyres in place of the standard tyres in order to enhance the off-roading capability.

The India-spec Bajaj Dominar 400 is available with 110-section front and 150-section rear MRF REVZ street tyres. Despite being powered by the 373cc engine, the Dominar 400 is less powerful than the Indian version which is equipped with a sub-350cc engine. The Colombia-bound Dominar 400 has max power and peak torque of 38.9 bhp and 35 Nm, respectively, as compared to 40 bhp and 33.2 Nm of the Indian model.

Bajaj Auto officially launched the Dominar 400 with a 350cc engine in Apr 2026 in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is nearly Rs 37,000 cheaper than the earlier price with a 400cc engine. Bajaj Dominar 400 price has come down due to the downsized 350cc engine as it now attracts lower GST of 18 percent as compared to 40 percent tax on 400cc version.

Bajaj downsized the existing 373cc engine to 349.13cc by reducing the stroke from 60 mm to 56.1 mm while the bore has been retained at 89 mm. The power and torque figures have also gone down by 2.4 bhp and 1.8 bhp, respectively. The 350cc engine, still a single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit, is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, slip and assist clutch, and single spark plug.
