4 New Royal Enfield Bikes India Launch by March 2027

Royal Enfield is upping the ante in the middleweight segment of motorcycles with several new models lined up to launch in the next 8-9 months

Royal Enfield, the segment-leader in middleweight (350-650cc) motorcycles, is all set to expand its product portfolio in the Indian market. The company already has a packed 350cc line-up, comprising of 5 five bikes. Hence, it will now focus on the 450cc and all-electric segment while entering the 750cc category with the launch of multiple new models. We expect the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand to debut a plethora of new motorcycles at the EICMA 2026, which will be launched in India in a phased manner by March 2027. Let’s talk about these upcoming Royal Enfield bikes in detail.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

The Himalayan 750 will have its highly-anticipated world premiere at the EICMA 2026 in Italy, as confirmed by top boss B Govindarajan earlier this year. The upcoming twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle has been captured on camera multiple times during its test runs on the Indian roads, albeit with heavy camouflage. Just so you know, The company had showcased the pre-production prototype of the Himalayan 750 at the EICMA 2025.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will also be rolled out with adjustable suspension setup as USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers. A few other notable styling elements expected onboard the adventure bike could be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and front windscreen. It will debut with a new 750cc parallel-twin engine which could develop power around 55-60 bhp.

RE Flying Flea S6

The Flying Flea S6 made its first public appearance in India at the Motoverse 2025 in Goa. Last year, Royal Enfield filed the design patent for the upcoming all-electric motorcycle, which is confirmed to go on sale by the end of 2026 in our country. The technical specs of the S6 are not in public domain yet. However, it is likely to borrow the 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack from the Flying Flea C6 with a similar range of 150+ km on a single charge.

Riding on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres, Flying Flea S6 is claimed to be both road-ready and trail-ready. The electric bike gets an enduro-style seat with a finned magnesium battery case and chain final drive setup. It also comes with a round touchscreen instrument console with connected features. Royal Enfield confirmed that the S6 will house ‘a high-torque EV motor’.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 440

The Himalayan 440 will be the first one to go on sale among the four upcoming RE motorcycles mentioned in this article. It could launch as early as Oct-Nov 2026 in our country. Internally codenamed as D4G, it will be the spiritual successor to the Himalayan 411 which was discontinued in late 2023 after the arrival of Himalayan 450. At the heart, the 443cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Scram 440 will be carried over with a 6-speed gearbox.

It would be positioned between Scram 440 and Himalayan 450 while styling will be inspired by the Himalayan 411. The ADV bike will use the same platform and engine as the Scram 440. The Himalayan 440 is likely to have a relatively lower seat height while being highly affordable than the Himalayan 450. It is not likely to pack multiple premium features, except the switchable ABS and Tripper navigation pod.

Royal Enfield Scram 450

The Scram 450 is expected to be launched in the Q4 FY27 in the Indian market. Internally codenamed as K2K, it is going to be the third RE motorcycle on the same platform as the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450. It has been learnt that the motorcycle will ride on a 19-inch front wheel as compared to the 21-inch unit seen on the Himalayan 450. However, the rear wheel is expected to be the same at 17-inch in order to offer decent saddle height.

Needless to state, Royal Enfield Scram 450 will be offered with dual-purpose tyres as standard. However, it is still unclear whether wire-spoke wheels will be available with tubeless tyres or not. It has come to our knowledge that Scram 450 will get a new scooped single-piece seat and tail section to maintain its individuality. The fuel tank will be identical to the Guerrilla 450. It will be powered by the same 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Sherpa engine.
