Ather Konarc low-cost family electric scooter will be launched at the Annual Community Day on Aug 29, 2026 in the Indian market. However, ahead of the official launch, the battery pack, range and other technical specs of the e-scooter have been leaked online. The Konarc electric scooter will be available in four S and two Q variants namely SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4, QR2, and QR3, claimed a Team-BHP report. Furthermore, the upcoming Ather mass-market scooter is believed to be offered with a an ‘Airwalk’ feature which aids the riders in walking the e-scooter.
Ather Konarc Battery and Range
It will be rolled out with multiple battery packs which will return IDC ranges of 100 km, 125 km, 160 km, and 200 km. Ather Energy had earlier stated that the EL platform of the Konarc is compatible with multiple battery packs of 2 kWh to 5 kWh. Hence, with such four diverse range choices between 100 km to 200 km, it will cover most of the electric scooter segment.
Ather Konarc Charging Time
The report further adds that Ather Konarc will be retailed with a built-in 450W charger, termed as Ather Charge Drive Controller, and a handy cable. The riders can directly plug in this cable in power socket to charge the scooter. The owners will also get an additional 450W charger which can be combined with the on-board charger to get 900W of fast charging with a 0-100 percent battery charge time of merely 2 hours.

Ather Konarc Price
Ather Konarc electric scooter will have a service interval of 1 year / 10,000 km. Based on the EL01 concept model, it is likely to be priced between Rs 1-1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The company had showcased the EL platform and EL01 concept model at the Annual Community Day in 2025. Unlike the sharper and angular styling of the 450 series, Ather Konarc will be rolled out with a conventional design which is best suited for family electric scooters.
Ather Konarc Design
The recently released teaser video confirmed that the upcoming Ather affordable e-scooter will get a handlebar-mounted LED headlamp with a broad LED daytime running light (DRL) strip on the front apron. The Konarc will ride on 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels. The stopping power will come from front disc and rear drum brakes. It is likely to become the first company model to get the Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS).

Ather Konarc Features
It will come with a swingarm-mounted electric motor, which is generally considered the best for ride quality as compared to the hub-mounted motor. The 450 series is offered with a mid-mounted motor and belt-drive system. Running on the latest AtherStack 7.0, it will come with voice commands as standard. The design patent hinted at the inclusion of a 7-inch instrument console with TFT display and connected features.
