Top 10 Motorcycles FY26 India – Splendor, Shine, Pulsar, Apache

The FY26 motorcycle sales data show that Hero MotoCorp is still the country’s biggest two-wheeler brand with three models in the list

Hero Splendor has emerged as India’s highest-selling motorcycle in FY26 with over 37 lakh units of the commuter bike being sold between April 2025 – March 2026 in the country. The company retails Splendor Plus, Splendor Plus XTEC, and Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 at starting prices of Rs 74,902, Rs 78,428, and Rs 80,964, respectively. In addition, a more premium version in the form of Super Splendor XTEC with a 125cc engine is also available at a sticker price of Rs 82,757 in the Indian market. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Honda Shine 125 bagged the second position with sales of close to 20 lakh units in FY26. It was the highest-selling 125cc motorcycle during the last fiscal year in the Indian market. Apart from the 125cc model, Honda Shine is also available with a 100cc engine. The bike has constantly featured in the list of top 10 motorcycles each month at the second spot during FY26.

Bajaj Pulsar grabbed the third position with overall sales of 13.99 lakh units in FY26. Hence, it also became the best-selling performance-oriented model in the Indian market. Bajaj Pulsar is available in four distinct model categories in the form of N, NS, RS, and Classic with engine options ranging from 125cc to 400cc. Bajaj retails a total of 11 motorcycles under the ‘Pulsar’ nameplate in the country.

The fourth position was secured by yet another Hero commuter in the form of the HF Deluxe with sales of 10.12 lakh units during FY26. The fifth and sixth spots were claimed by TVS Apache and TVS Raider with sales of 5.71 lakh units and 4.27 lakh units, respectively. Just so you know, the Apache is sold with multiple engine options ranging from 160cc to 310cc.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 was at the seventh position with sales of 4.10 lakh units while Bajaj Platina captured the eighth position with 4.07 lakh units. Royal Enfield further enhanced its presence in the list as the Bullet 350 held the ninth position with sales of 2.56 lakh units. The tenth and eventual spot belonged to Hero Passion with sales of 2.49 lakh units in FY26.

So, if we look closely at the sales data, Hero MotoCorp has completely dominated the entry-level commuter segment with as many as three models. The data further reveals that Honda and TVS have solid presence in the 125cc segment of motorcycles. On the other hand, there is no stopping for Bajaj Pulsar as despite being in the market for over 25 years, it continues to fetch record sales numbers. Similarly, Royal Enfield has got no match in the 350cc segment in the Indian market.
