The 2026 Pulsar 220F has finally been launched in the Indian market with new paint schemes, refreshed graphics and latest features
Bajaj Auto has officially launched the 2026 Pulsar 220F at a sticker price of Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It will be available across all the company authorized dealerships in the country. The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F was spotted at company showrooms a few days back and since then, it was anticipated that a launch is on the cards. The new version of the bike comes with refreshed graphics, new colour options and modern features while mechanically retaining the same engine and gearbox.
The 2026 Pulsar 220F has been presented in four colour schemes namely Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue, Black Copper Beige and Green Light Copper. In addition, it gets sleek LED turn indicators as new addition. The new motorcycle continues to carry the same front and rear disc brake setup with a single-channel ABS. However, contrary to media reports, dual-channel ABS has not been offered.
Some of the notable features onboard the 2026 Pulsar 220F are five-spoke alloy wheels, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, Ride Connect app integration and turn-by-turn navigation. This is one of the many new Pulsar models, revealed by Bajaj MD Rajiv Bajaj, to launch in the Indian market. We will see multiple Pulsars going on sale in the coming months.
At the heart, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has the same 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled Twin Spark DTS-i petrol engine which develops top power of 20.6 bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 18.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This is the first major update for the Pulsar 220F since its launch in 2010, which is nearly 15 years back from now.
Notably, Bajaj Auto has kept the pricing of the 2026 Pulsar 220F unchanged despite offering latest features and new colours. Though the inclusion of a dual-channel ABS would have made it even more desirable and premium. However, we believe that the company might introduce an all-new variant of the Pulsar 220F with this safety feature at a higher price in future.
Bajaj Auto will also launch the 2026 Pulsar 150 soon in the country as it was recently spotted undisguised at a company dealership. Identical to the 2026 Pulsar 220F, the motorcycle was flaunting LED headlamp and turn indicators among other prominent updates. In the coming months, we will also witness several other Pulsar models being updated with advanced features.
