The 2026 Pulsar NS200 gets an array of premium features while the power output has also increased by 1 bhp
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200 at a sticker price of Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The naked sports bike gets an array of premium features while the power output has also increased as compared to the outgoing model. A few days back, we had reported to you that the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 bookings had commenced at select company dealerships as the demo units had already reached the showrooms. Now, the company has officially launched the motorcycle as it joins the likes of N250 4V, N160 4V, NS400Z, and new-gen Pulsar Classic 125 and Pulsar Classic 150.
First things first, the 2026 Pulsar NS200 gets electronic throttle body (ETB) which enables the introduction of multiple upscale features in the form of ride modes, traction control and a quickshifter (Sports Shifter). The latest iteration of the naked sports bike also boasts of the new 5-inch TFT console with Google Maps mirroring as it replaces the existing LCD unit.
The company has also offered adjustable levers, Panic Brake Alert, a USB Type-C port and a hazard switch with the 2026 Pulsar NS200 with claims that it is now the most feature packed motorcycle in the segment. In terms of hardware update, the earlier 33 mm USD front forks have gone for a toss in favour of thicker and advanced 37 mm units.
Sitting on the same perimeter frame, it is powered by the 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which now generates max power of 25.1 bhp which is up from the previous model’s 24.1 bhp. As we can see, the total power output has gone up by nearly 1 bhp while the naked sports bike is paired to the same 6-speed transmission. The rear tyre has been upgraded to a 130/70-R17 radial unit.
Speaking on the announcement, Mr Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer, Two-wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “For Pulsar, performance has always been rooted in power. We believe it should also be defined by how confidently and intuitively a rider can use that power. With the NS200, we are evolving this definition to meet changing riding needs and bring greater adaptability to the riding experience, while staying true to the performance-led character of the NS.”
Bajaj Auto retails a total of four motorcycles in the Pulsar NS (Naked Sports) series namely the NS125, NS160, NS200 and NS400Z. The company had recently carried out similar updates in the N250 4V, NS400Z, and the new-gen models of the Pulsar Classic 125 and Pulsar Classic 150. The brand is celebrating the 25 glorious years of the Pulsar nameplate in the Indian market.
