The latest one to enter the fray is the Apache RTX from TVS. This indicates that buyers are drifting more towards the middleweight adventure motorcycles due to their ability to conquer off-road terrains as well as long distance journeys on the tarmac. However, due to abundant models in the segment, it is hard to choose the most affordable and value-for-money product. 1. Hero Xpulse 210

The Xpulse 210 had its world premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Italy while the ADV bike made its public appearance at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year in January. Offered in two trims namely Base and Top at prices of Rs 1.62 lakh and Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively, Hero Xpulse 210 is the smallest and cheapest, yet most capable adventure motorcycle in the Indian market.

It comes with a ground clearance of 220 mm while equipped with segment-leading suspension setup which has 210mm front and 205mm rear travel to suit its off-roading character. The Xpulse 210 gets several upmarket features such as LED projector headlamp, 4.2-inch TFT display, and Dual-channel switchable ABS with Road, Off-Road, and Rally modes. It is powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled engine which makes 24.2 bhp and 20.7 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox.

2. TVS Apache RTX

The latest model in the middleweight adventure segment, the Apache RTX, is presented in three variants namely Base, Top and BTO (Built To Order) at price points of Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh and Rs 2.34 lakh, respectively. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. It is the first adventure bike from TVS till date in the Indian market.

The Apache RTX comes loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of Ride modes (Urban, Rain, Tour & Rally), Bi-directional quickshifter, 5-inch TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, Class-D headlamp with DRLs, Cruise control, Linear traction control, Adjustable levers, Map mirroring and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. At the heart, it debuts the all-new 299.1cc liquid-cooled engine which generates top power of 35.5 bhp and peak torque of 28.5 Nm with a 6-speed gearbox.

3. KTM 250 Adventure

KTM 250 Adventure is the brand’s entry-level model positioned below the 390 Adventure. Priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is available in a single fully-loaded variant in two paint schemes namely Electronic Orange and Ceramic White. Flaunting a Dakar-inspired Rally design, it rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels which are shod with tubeless tyres.

KTM 250 Adventure is presented with multiple premium features such as Off-road ABS, 5-inch LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity, Quickshifter+, Ride-by-wire throttle and USB-C charging port. Mechanically, it is equipped with a 249.07cc liquid-cooled engine which delivers max power of 30.6 bhp and highest torque of 25 Nm while coupled with a 6-speed transmission. Sitting on a split-trellis frame, the ADV bike gets disc brakes at both the ends.

4. Yezdi Adventure

Available at a starting price of Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom) post the recent cut in GST rates, the 2025 Yezdi Adventure was launched on June 4 in the Indian market. It is offered in four matte colours namely Forest Green, Ocean Blue, Desert Khaki and Tornado Black, while two Gloss paints are also available in the form of Wolf Grey and Glacier White.

Some of the notable features onboard include twin LED headlights, traction control system, switchable ABS modes (Road, Rain, & Off-Road), all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and USB charging port. Yezdi Adventure houses a 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Alpha2 engine which is good enough for 29.2 bhp and 29.9 Nm. The adventure bike has the best-in-segment ground clearance of 220 mm.

5. Suzuki V-Strom SX

Last month, Suzuki V-Strom SX was launched with refreshed graphics in three dual-tone colour choices namely Pearl Fresh Blue + Glass Sparkle Black, Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Mat Stellar Blue. In addition, a single-tone Glass Sparkle Black colourway is also offered. Priced at Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is Suzuki’s entry-level adventure motorcycle in India.

The V-Strom SX boasts of LED headlight and tail lights, compact windscreen, split-seat setup, dual-exit exhaust, engine under cowl and knuckle guards as standard fitment. It is the only adventure motorcycle in the segment to be powered by an oil-cooled engine as all the other bikes come packed with a liquid-cooled unit. The 249cc single-cylinder powertrain belts out 26.1 bhp and 22.2 Nm while mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
