A new retro-cruiser has been spotted doing test runs possibly around Pune with multiple claims. The original source lists it as the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph. However, this is far from that! Because the first bike from the Indo-brit partnership will be around 200-250cc in capacity and this is definitely a bigger machine. We believe this is the upcoming BSA Motorcycle from Classic Legends.
There has been a speculative bit about the BSA’s first motorcycle that it will carry a single cylinder, mid capacity 650cc engine. Interestingly, the bike has a single-disc brake at the front wheel with Phantom tyres. These peripherals are the same ones used on Triumph Bonneville.
Single Cylinder: BSA’s 650cc Engine Details Revealed
The spy shots reveal a long single-sided exhaust, twin rear shock absorbers, and fork gaiters on the front suspension.
On a closer look, the engine has fins that indicate an air-cooled engine. However, a black hose can be noticed peeking boldly from the engine.
Also, to keep this relatively large single cylinder motor cooled, this supposed bike from Classic Legends is equipped with a large radiator.
The seat looks quite spacious with a linear design. The footpegs are at their conventional positions just like the Bonneville.
The bike looks to be in the middle stages of development and not really close to production. What is surprising is the fact that there were reports that Classic Legends will make BSAs in UK, however, their first ever spotting on Indian soil suggests otherwise.

Though focus would be on international, developed markets but again, if it will be produced here, there are all the chances that Classic Legends may introduce it in India as well. Nothing can be said about the price point right now – but BSA may be placed at a higher pedestal.
