2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Reaches Dealerships, Gets 3 ABS Modes

The company is yet to make an official announcement, but the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has already been spotted at company showrooms

Bajaj Auto has silently updated the Pulsar NS160 with ABS modes and the new model has been spotted at company dealerships across the country. Though the company is yet to release an official statement regarding the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 including the hike in price, if any, has been made. We believe that Bajaj will keep the pricing unchanged as apart from the ABS modes, the bike is totally same as the previous model. Just so you know, the Pune-based two-wheeler brand had also updated the Pulsar RS200 with similar ABS modes earlier this year.

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will now be available with three ABS modes in the form of Rain, Road and Off-Road. The company has installed a dedicated switch to toggle between these modes. While the Rain mode allows the ABS to work in its maximum capacity on slippery surfaces, the Road mode is for normal conditions and optimum performance of the ABS. Last but not the least, during the off-road mode, the ABS functionality is quite less on the rear wheel to tackle uneven terrains.

The bike remains unchanged in terms of appearance, nor has the brand added or omitted any feature from it. It flaunts the same styling as its elder sibling, the NS200. Bajaj had updated both the NS twins a couple of years back in 2023 with modern hardware such as USD front suspension, gear position indicator and distance to empty gauge.

The 2025 Pulsar NS160 will be available in the existing four colour options namely Cocktail Wine Red, Ebony Black, Pearl Metallic White and Pewter grey. Some other notable bells and whistles onboard are all-LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging port and Grimeca brake callipers.

Mechanically, the 2025 Pulsar NS160 carries the same 160.3cc single-cylinder oil-cooled petrol engine which generates max power output of 17.2 bhp and highest torque performance of 14.6 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission as standard. It will directly rival TVS Apache RTR 160 and Hero Xtreme 160R in the domestic market.

Bajaj Auto has priced the current model of the Pulsar NS160 at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the updated 2025 model with ABS modes to retain the same pricing. However, if at all the company decides to hike the price, it will be too marginal, say in the range of 3k-5k on the present ex-showroom price.
