2022 Multistrada V4 comes with new electronics, better accessory options along with an interesting new color…
The Ducati Multistrada V4 ended the year 2021 on a high, with almost 10,000 bikes delivered to their lucky customers worldwide. The highly acclaimed adventure-tourer machine won the accolade of ‘European Bike of the Year’ and outsold every other bike in the 2021 Ducati lineup.
Riding high on the success, Ducati is aiming to continue the roll and have updated the beauty further with a new colour, new electronics and better accessories options.
The previous generation of the Multistrada V4 S lineup was offered in the brand’s trademark Ducati Red and Aviator Grey colourway, excluding the Sport and Pikes Peak liveries. For the 2022 version, Ducati have introduced a new colour option – Iceberg White – which they explain ‘enhances the refined lines of the bike‘.

The next upgrade brought to the Multistrada V4 is the introduction of Minimum Preload Function to their already existing semi-automatic suspension. The new system allows the bike to temporarily further lower the bike’s height to aid shorter riders to mount and dismount the bike with confidence and ease.
Further aiding the Minimum Preload Function, Ducati have also introduced a new Lowering Kit to Multistrada V4’s parts catalogue. It consists of fork springs, shock absorber springs and a side-stand that will further reduce the seat height by 20 mm. Combining it with Ducati’s low saddle, the Lowering Kit can bring the seat height of the Multi to as low as 800 mm. Impressive!
The infotainment and the bike-rider interface have also been updated for the new year. However, this upgrade is not limited just to the 2022 model, the 2021 model owners can also update their Multistrada V4 instrumentation to a newer and better experience starting 15th of March 2022. Ducati will reach out to these owners through their MyDucati App to assist them to schedule their appointment to get their machines updated.
Last but not the least, for 2022, Ducati have introduced durable aluminium panniers and top-box jointly designed with Givi. All three storage boxes combined offer 117 Liter of capacity, of which the panniers make up 71 Liter. Optionally added to these boxes are heat-sealed and waterproof internal bags that allow the rider to make full use of the space provided in the boxes.
The 2022 Multistrada V4 lineup sporting the new colour scheme and electronics will be available at the nearest Ducati showroom starting March 2022.
