Adding a little spice to its Dio scooter, Honda has officially announced its Sports edition in India. The Dio Sports dons two new funkier color themes for the festive season.
According to the official press note, the new Dio Sports gets camouflaged color themes, red colored rear springs along with alloy wheels – and these three things separate the Sports model from the standard variant. Rest of the stuff remains unchanged which means it continues to offer features like telescopic suspension, external fuel lid, side stand cut-off, 3-step eco indicator, etc.

This means that Honda is charging a nominal premium of Rs 500 on the standard variant and slightly higher Rs 2000 for the deluxe trim – for the Sports edition.
The deluxe trim Dio comes with LED headlamps, full digital instrument console, real time mileage indicator, distance to empty and average mileage indicator, 3-step Eco indicator which are absent on the standard variant.

The new Dio Sports is available in two color shades – Strontium Silver Metallic with Black and Sports Red with Black.
It must be noted that this is a limited edition variant and will be available for a short duration. With this Honda has announced its festive season plans and has scheduled a mysterious model launch on the 8th of August (more details).
