2022 Classic 350 launch date has been revealed along with few key specs of the model. It will be the biggest change to the RE’s largest seller ever!
The launch date of the 2022 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been revealed. This cruiser from RE will be launched on August 27th at 1 PM IST. It carries forward the J-Platform and the 349cc engine from the recently introduced Meteor 350.
While the engine and power delivery may be similar between the upcoming Classic 350 and the Meteor, the design largely differentiates the duo. Royal Enfield has ensured that it does NOT tinker with the tried and tested styling of the Classic even on the new-gen model.
The 349cc BS6 compliant engine will support air and oil cooling. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. According to a latest document, it will produce 14.87 kW (20.22 PS) of peak power at 6100 rpm. And though the torque numbers are not listed, we believe they will be 27 Nm – just like the Meteor.
The new Classic will weigh 375 kg gross and has a wheelbase of 1390 mm.

The 2022 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will also come with the Signals Edition which we confirmed in one of our previous posts.
The cruiser will be offered in both single and double seating arrangements. In the instrument cluster expect the Navigation Tripper to be offered as an optional feature, probably at an extra cost.
