Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of the 2021 FZ FI and FZS FI in the country. While the 2021 FZ FI motorcycle gets the new “side stand engine cutoff switch”, the FZS FI gets updated with an important feature onboard. It gets “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” as a new feature, which is a Bluetooth connectivity technology.
Apart from that, the FZ range now gets 2 kg lighter, and it now weighs 135 kg, instead of 137 kg earlier. That should result in an even better performance in the real world. Talking about the Connect X technology, it offers several features like Answer Back, E-Lock, Hazard, Locate My Bike, etc.

In the process, the new FZ has become Rs 1000 costlier and the FZS is now more expensive by Rs 2500.

Other than that, the motorcycles remain the same, as they continue with the same BS6 compliant, 149 cc, fuel-injected engine that makes 12.2 bhp of power and 13.6 Nm of torque.

In terms of colors, the 2021 FZ FI will be available in two colors – Racing Blue and Metallic Black. On the other hand, the FZS Fi can be had in a choice of five colors, which include Matte Red (new color addition), Dark Matte Blue, Matte Black, Dark Knight, and Vintage Edition.
