Street 750 Rival 2021 Kawasaki Vulcan 650 BS6 Launched at ₹5.79 Lakh

New Vulcan 650 BS6 price hike is at least ₹20,000 more than the older version. The middleweight cruiser comes with a comfortable riding position and many attractive features.

India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM), the Indian division of the Japanese Kawasaki Motorcycles has announced the launch of the updated 2021 version of Vulcan S 650 in India.

The company calls it a fun-to-ride cruiser, and it comes with a lightweight 649cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine which produces 61 PS of peak power at 7500 rpm and 62.4 Nm of max torque at 6600 rpm. While power figures are similar to the older model, torque has seen a very minor drop of 0.6 Nm.

The new Vulcan is available in a single color option now, which the company calls as ‘Metallic Flat Raw Graystone’.

The older Vulcan was available at Rs 5.49-5.59 Lakhs which means the price hike is at least Rs 20,000 in this transition.

The Street 750 rival continues with the same classic yet modern styling and offers a comfortable riding position. It comes with a feature called ‘Ergo fit’, through which you can adjust your riding setup – basically the handlebar, seat, and the footpegs, according to your comfort.

Other notable features of the bike include a gear position indicator, an exposed rear mono-shock suspension, a slim ‘backbone-style’ rear frame, and more. Bookings of the cruiser have commenced at all Kawasaki dealerships across India.
