Chinese owned Italian manufacturer Benelli has announced the official launch of the 2021 TRK502 in India. The X is the more off-road focussed version of the TRK502 that is already on sale here.
As a mandate, the TRK502X carries the same 500cc, parallel twin cylinder engine which is now BS6 compliant. It produces 47.5 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 46 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 502X comes with a large fuel tank range of 20 liters to help during long distance hauls, apart from a high 220 mm ground clearance to tackle off-roads with aplomb. Apart from this, the ADV gets dual channel ABS, new knuckle protectors, adjustable rear monoshock absorber, etc.
The model is offered in three colors – Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White and Benelli Red.

This makes it about Rs 40,000 costlier than the sibling TRK502. However, it is a whopping 1.67 Lac cheaper than the latest entrant Honda CB500X, despite being a more muscular looking motorcycle.

The TRK502X is offered with a 3-year unlimited kilometer warranty and becomes the third motorcycle and fourth variant in Benelli’s lineup to be available in the BS6 era.
