Bajaj has refreshed its Pulsar line-up with new Dagger Edge editions. The Pulsar 220 has received four new colors in this update – Volcanic Red, Sparkle Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.

There are contrast colored decals on base shades – for example white gets red and black decals, red gets black and white decals, black gets contrast red decals and blue gets white and black decals. Many parts, like the engine, alloys, suspension, swingarm as well as the exhaust have been blackened. Contrast colored rim stripes add to the sportiness.

Some parts, like the the front fender and side panels, also get faux carbon fiber finish. While the red and blue shades do not gel well, the white and black colors would be the pick for most of the bikers.

Mechanically, there is no change and the semi faired Pulsar continues with the same 220cc, oil cooled fuel injected, BS6 compliant engine which produces 20.4 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 18.55 Nm of max torque at 7000 rpm.
