Rumored upcoming Pulsar 250 would be the largest Pulsar in the range and will open a new chapter in the brand’s lifespan…
A set of new spy pics of the purported Pulsar 250 have emerged on the internet. While we could not initially understand the company’s game plan, but it now appears that the idea is fitting the puzzle. You can read our last story on the possibility of this being the Pulsar 250 here.
One of the pic here (featured image) shows the body size vis-à-vis the rider and it does seem to be bigger or the same size as the Pulsar NS200. No doubt this upcoming newer generation Pulsar appears to have carried over the inspiration from the NS range but apart from the alloy wheels it may not be carrying over anything directly. Even the alloys may get changed in the production version.
Fact of the matter is that this bike may be running a completely new engine, a different chassis (than the older-gen Pulsars) and for the first time we will see monoshock absorbers in the Pulsar range (talking about the older-gen Pulsars again, that have been going on and on…).
The possibility is that this new platform will first see a 250cc variant but later it will percolate to all the non NS/RS models in the lineup. But then it again depends on the reception it gets. The costlier NS platform could not make the cut and hence, may only live till there is demand. What capacities will Bajaj keep in the new age Pulsars is not known at the moment and anyway, it may take few years for the complete transition.
