Bajaj has launched new and updated Platina 100 kick start variant in the market. It, naturally, sits under the other Platina trims but over the CT100. The 2021 Platina 100 comes with a lot of interesting features that are not very common in this segment.

Among the most prominent ones are Gas-filled NITROX suspension which get Bajaj’s ‘Spring-on-Spring’ technology. The company claims these are upto 15 percent more comfortable on long rides. Adding to the convenience factor, the 100cc Platina also comes with tubeless tyres for a hassle-free ride.

Other key features of the model include…

  • Hand guards – which prevent from windblasts
  • LED DRL headlamps
  • Quilted seats – for comfort
  • Wider rubber footpads – for comfort and better grip
  • 20 percent longer front and rear suspension – for enhanced comfort and lesser jerks

The motorcycle is also offered with protective tank pad and updated indicators and mirrors.

As you can see, Bajaj is charging a considerably lesser (Rs 8237) amount for the kick start variant.

The same 102cc, 7.9 PS, 8.3 Nm BS6 compliant engine performs duty. Bajaj claims a top speed of 90 kmph. Platina 100 has a ground clearance of 200mm and weighs 117 kg – 500 grams lesser than the Platina 100 Electric start drum brake variant.
