Kawasaki has officially announced the launch of the 2021 Ninja 300 which comes with Bharat Stage 6 compliance. The model has retained its older styling of the BS4 model but it now comes in three new colors – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green type 3 and Ebony.
The 296cc parallel twin engine comes with liquid cooling and produces the 39 PS of peak power at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm at 10,000 rpm. That means the model has seen no drop in power but torque has seen a minor reduction of 0.9 Nm but max rpm numbers have remained the same. Kerb weight of 179 kilo has also remained unchanged.
Key features include die cast cylinder, assist and slipper clutch, 37 mm telescopic front forks, 140 mm wide rear tyres, etc.

This older BS4 model was priced at Rs 2.98 Lakh which means the premium Kawasaki is charging is Rs 20,000 which is still reasonable.

The new Ninja 300 still comes at a pretty aggressive price tag considering that it is a dual cylinder sports motorcycle.

It will be interesting to see how do bikers respond to the new Ninja considering that Kawasaki hasn’t still adopted the international new-generation Ninja’s styling on the Indian version. That has to do with the fact that this version of the motorcycle is discontinued from the international markets.
