In what comes as a surprise, Benelli has introduced its second Bharat Stage 6 compliant model – the TRK 502 in India at prices lesser than before. It joins only a few other motorcycles that have seen price cuts in this new stricter emission era.
The mid-size ADV continues to be powered by the same 500cc, in-line twin cylinder, liquid cooled, 8-valve, DOHC engine that produces 47.5 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 46 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm. Though these numbers remain unchanged, Benelli says that the motor has been re-tuned and it is now more refined than before.
The TRK502 now comes with minor changes like different handguards, larger mirrors, etc. It also gets a new instrument cluster along with a premium switchgear which is backlit. Other than that, it looks to be very similar to the older model.

Benelli Sales: 148 Imperiale 400s Retailed in December
The older model was sold at Rs 5.10 Lakh which means Benelli has reduced the prices by upto Rs 30,000. The base model comes in the Metallic Dark Grey color and the premium trims are offered in Pure White and Benelli Red shades.
