Honda has officially announced the launch of the new 2021 Africa Twin Adventure Sports in India. The new year model is offering fresher colors on both the manual as well as DCT transmission options.
The new variant will be available in Darkness Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White Tricolor options for the manual and Dual Clutch Transmission models respectively. There are no mechanical changes and it continues to be powered by the same 1084cc, parallel twin cylinder engine which produces 73 KW (99 PS) of peak power and 103 Nm of max torque.

Honda sells its premium motorcycles through the exclusive BigWing Topline dealerships. The Africa Twin will be available in Kochi, Indore, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bengaluru along with two upcoming showrooms in Chennai and Hyderabad.
The Adventure model comes with a Lithium Ion battery which is claimed to last 4 times longer than conventional batteries. It has electronic aids like wheelie control, cornering ABS with off-road setting and Rear lift control. In addition, the DCT model also features cornering detection feature which adjusts for ‘most natural gear changes’ when it senses that the bike is in corners.

Other features include dual LED headlights, cruise control, 24.5 liter fuel tank, 6.5 inch TFT touchscreen display (with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth Connectivity) apart from a bolt-on aluminum subframe and swingarm which, Honda says, is inspired from the company’s Dakar motorcycle CRF450R.
