2020 Pulsar 125 BS6 Launched at Rs 70,000; Gets Few Changes

2020 Pulsar 125 BS6 price hike is upto Rs 7500 over the older version and it also receives minor changes in this transition…

Bajaj has updated its website with the details of the 2020 Pulsar 125 which is now Bharat Stage 6 compliant. In addition to the emission related changes, the smallest Pulsar also receives minor cosmetic enhancements.

There is a new tank extension (like the one Pulsar 150 received silently last year). This extension also gets a small contrast colored sticker. Additionally, there are couple of reflectors on the front telescopic shock absorbers.

According to website, the 2020 Pulsar 125 still produces the same 12 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm. However, in an earlier leaked document, the BS6 version of the smallest Pulsar was certified to produce slightly lower 11.80 PS of max power. Chances are that the specs page is not properly updated, like it is the case with the new Pulsar RS200 as well (more details here).

So How Much Bajaj Contributed to KTM’s 2.80 Lac Units in 2019?

The older models are listed at Rs 63,616 and Rs 66,618 which means the price hike is Rs 6,381 (or 10 percent) and Rs 7,500 (corresponding to 11.26 percent) respectively. This still keeps it more than 10k cheaper than the Pulsar 150 Neon.
