TVS Launches Apache 160 BS6 2V at 93,500; Power & Torque Increased

2020 Apache 160 2V BS6 price is under the 4V variant but it surprisingly gains both power and torque apart from new features like GTT…

As we informed earlier, TVS will continue its older-generation Apache 2-valve models in the Bharat Stage 6 era. The first one to get launched is the Apache 160 2V which gets fresher with race graphics and RT-FI (race tuned fuel injection).

The interesting feature GTT – Glide Through Traffic, has also made it to the new version. GTT helps the motorcycle ride without clutch and accelerator in extremely slow bumper to bumper traffic.

The new Apache 160 BS6 is equipped with the same 159.7 cc, 2-valve engine which pumps out 15.53 PS of max power at 8400 rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. In comparison the outgoing Apache 160 BS4 produced 15.11 PS at 8000 rpm and 13.03 Nm at 6500 rpm. This means that, though they peak at slightly higher rpms, both power and torque have gone up by 0.42 PS and 0.87 Nm respectively. This is one of the rare motorcycle to have got a hike in these numbers.
