In fact, even during the lockdown, when production at factories was halted and all dealerships across the country remained shut, makers were busy increasing prices of their two-wheelers silently.

The latest price hike is Rs 955 on both the variants. This means that Activa in this BS4 to BS6 transition has gained an increment of Rs 9485 and Rs 9120 which corresponds to an effective increase of over 15 percent for both the variants!

The new Activa was launched in mid January 2020 which means that it has seen at least three price hikes within eight odd months.
