2019 Saluto prices listed along with the new colours they will come in. UBS is standard on both disc and drum brake versions…
Yamaha has officially announced the launch of 2019 versions of two of their entry level motorcycles in India – Saluto RX and Saluto 125.
The biggest change is the inclusion of UBS which full forms to Unified Braking System and is nothing but a different name of CBS (Combined Braking System) which will become mandatory on all motorcycles under 125cc from April 2019.
In UBS, upon the application of only the rear brake, the motorcycle automatically also partially applies the front brake for a more effective braking experience. The UBS is applicable to all the variants of both these motorcycles – with disc or drum brakes.
This has meant a minor increment of weight of about 1 kg on both the motorcycles. Apart from that mechanically, both the motorcycles continue with the same engines and continue to produce the same power and torque outputs.
