2019 Yamaha R15 Moto GP Edition Launched at 1.43 Lakh

Last year in August, Yamaha announced the launch of the R15 Moto GP edition for India and it was limited to some 5000 units. After these numbers were exhausted the motorcycle went off the lineup. However, bikers who were waiting for it, here is the 2019 iteration albeit in a completely different livery.

Yamaha has announced its “The Call of the Blue” Season 2. Under this program it has launched the 2019 R15 Moto GP Edition which is inspired from the company’s racing machine YZR M1. It now comes in black colour with blue decals (last year’s model was offered in blue colour) and has various racing decals on the fairing, side panels, tank etc. Additionally, there are prominent Monster Energy logos on the motorcycle and Yamaha is also offering a complementary ‘racing branded’ T-shirt with every purchase of this new R15.

Yamaha has recently hiked the prices of the R15. And according to the new price list, as compared to the regular blue and grey colours, the 2019 Moto GP version costs Rs 2500 more whereas it is Rs 500 costlier than the Darknight colour.
