In an official announcement, Suzuki has launched the all-new 2019 Gixxer 150 roadster in India. It comes after the new Gixxer SF which was introduced few weeks back.
The 2019 Gixxer is still BS IV compliant and a BS VI variant is likely to be launched before the April 2020 deadline. There is one standard variant which comes with fuel injection (no carburettor variant), front plus rear disc brakes and single channel ABS.

It is powered by the same 155 cc SOHC engine but like the new SF, power has been reduced to 14.1 PS at 8000 rpm. The older Gixxer produced 14.8 PS of power at the same rpm. Torque, however, remains the same at 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The fuel injected engine continues to be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

There has been a price hike but it appears gigantic because the older Gixxer was also offered in the base trim with rear drum brakes and carburettor, whereas the new Gixxer is a single fully loaded variant.

There are three colour options on offer – Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Metallic Triton Blue. The motorcycle weighs 140 kg and comes with a 12 liter fuel tank. Also on offer is a five year warranty where two years are standard and three years are optional.
