Along with the new FZ version 3, Yamaha also announced the launch of the 2019 FZ25 and Fazer 25 in India. They now come with the safety net of Antilock Braking System.
Fortunately, Yamaha has equipped both of them with proper dual channel ABS systems which work on both the wheels. It must be remembered that the 150cc FZ range unveiled today gets a single channel ABS sourced from BOSCH.
Discontinuing the older paint schemes, Yamaha is now offering both the motorcycles in the following new colours…

As you can see the price increment is about Rs 14,000 on both the models. Considering the fact that the 150cc FZ has received a price hike of about Rs 8000 for ABS (and other changes), we believe both the 250cc motorcycles are now better equipped and the premium of dual channel ABS won’t pinch.
Rest of the specs, as Yamaha informs, are unchanged which means both the motorcycles make do with the same 249 cc air cooled single cylinder SOHC engine capable of producing 20.9 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm.
